Mill City Museum Wedding in Minneapolis MN || Jane + Hollis

This Mill City Museum wedding with Jane and Hollis was simply AWESOME!! The Mill City Museum is nothing short of magical and I feel the same way about this amazing couple!

Jane chose her details with a bit of an art deco theme in mind, and I’m obsessed with the dark green accents and vintage elements they used to bring everything together. Her sister and maid of honor even made her a bouquet using vintage pieces from their grandmother’s antique shop!

But the *real* magic of the day came from Jane and Hollis themselves.

The Couple

These two are so in love and so supportive of each other. The way they look at each other is straight out of a modern fairytale, complete with lots of laughs and deep respect for one another that emanates in every interaction they have. They positively light up when the other person walks into the room.

It’s so refreshing to see and made the day so beautiful in a way that decorations and florals never can.

And please scroll down to see their “cymbals of love” moment in the ceremony! It was so fun and beautiful and goofy in a way that totally embodies Jane and Hollis. I loved every minute of their ceremony! So much real emotion!

The Mill City Museum: A Minneapolis Wedding Venue

History – Mill City Museum

Built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill, Mill City Museum is located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront. Here, visitors of all ages learn about the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis.
Situated on the west bank of the Mississippi River and housed in what was once the largest flour mill in the world, the museum recreates an authentic mill experience with equipment, railroad cars, and family-friendly hands-on exhibits demonstrating milling techniques. The museum also boasts its own baking lab for cooking demonstrations.
The museum is currently available for private viewing via online reservation.

Wedding Venue – Mill City Museum

D’Amico Catering handles all the event-related rentals at the Mill City Museum. This venue can host receptions and ceremonies of up to 350 people depending on seating preferences. Rental fees range from $350-$2700, and plating options begin at $26 per person. Fees depend on the time of year and the type of space reserved.
